Unlike a traditional watch, Montero displays time using one hour hand only. There is no minute hand and no second hand. Instead, the single hand points to the current hour, while the space between each hour marker represents the passing minutes. This creates a cleaner, calmer, and more intuitive way of reading time.
The hour hand moves continuously throughout the day. As it travels between two hour markers, you can estimate the minutes naturally. For example: * If the hand is halfway between 3 and 4, the time is approximately 3:30. * If the hand is closer to 5 than 4, the time is approximately 4:45. The watch is designed to encourage a relaxed perception of time rather than minute-by-minute precision.
The rotating inner ring displays eight famous beaches around the world. Use the crown at 2 o'clock to rotate the beach ring until your selected destination aligns with the GMT hand. This allows you to quickly reference your chosen destination while enjoying the unique travel-inspired design.
The GMT hand makes one full rotation every 24 hours. It works together with the rotating beach ring to indicate the approximate time at your selected beach destination. This provides a simple and elegant way to follow a second time zone while travelling.
Pull the main crown (at 4 o'clock) to the time-setting position. Rotate the crown until the hour hand displays your current local time. Once finished, push the crown back to its normal position.
If the watch has stopped after not being worn for several days: * Turn the main crown clockwise approximately 40 turns. * Wear the watch normally and your daily wrist movement will keep it running.
When fully wound, the automatic movement provides approximately 41 hours of power reserve. If the watch is left unworn beyond this period, it may stop and simply needs to be wound again.
Montero offers 5 ATM (50 meters) water resistance. Suitable for: * Daily wear * Hand washing * Rain Not recommended for: * Swimming * Diving * High-pressure water activities.
